Clinical Psycho-Neuro-Immunology
CPNI (Clinical Psycho-Neuro-Immunology) is a scientific discipline that investigates how the brain, nervous system, immune system, hormones, gut, and lifestyle are constantly interconnected and influence one another.Within CPNI, the body is not viewed as isolated parts, but as one integrated system. According to this perspective, chronic complaints often arise from a complex interaction between stress, inflammation, sleep, nutrition, emotions, gut health, hormones, and nervous system dysregulation.CPNI therefore examines, among other things:
- the relationship between stress and the nervous system
- immune regulation and inflammation
- the brain-gut axis (communication between the brain and intestines)
- hormonal balance and stress physiology
- sleep, recovery, and energy metabolism
- nutrition and metabolic health
- the impact of trauma, overload, and chronic stress on the body
Within NeuroReact, CPNI helps to understand chronic pain, fatigue, sensory overload, and neurological symptoms from a broader neuro-immune and physiological perspective. The goal is not merely symptom suppression, but supporting regulation, recovery capacity, and balance within the entire system.
